Shimla - The Queen of Hills

Exact picturesque of the marketplace I saw in my head! and keep playing Naam hai tera by Himesh Reshammiah when you drive your car up and down the hill coz that's what I did and I could still feel the wind on my face when I hear it even now.

A cozy climate where people all over the Shimla town will wear woolen scarfs around their necks. It was a pleasant view everywhere. Public parks with rotating gates and street vendors selling cheap jewelry.

I still have a necklace in turquoise blue that still fits every attire I wear. Just like magic each piece from each place I visit brings back the memories like a rushing storm.

I had a visit to Shimla when it was summer. I had school vacation holidays and unfortunately there was no snow and Shimla was similar to the hill station you visit when you need a quick vacation. Probably a place I had visited when I was pretty young. They say your eyes capture things that anything else can't, still remember and feel the chatter, the breeze, the bustling crowd and calm nights even when it does get colder minute by minute, all you look for is not a fireplace but hot vadapav and samosa.

But people there working hard for everyday wages and the peace you get to experience whenever you get back to your room after a long day, dropping onto the couch or bed will always hit different in Shimla.

Ask me if I will go again? Of course ! Let me make sure it is snowy this time :)
